Synopsis
Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action thriller movie. The movie stars Allu Arjun in the lead role as Pushpa Raj, a smuggler in the red sanders smuggling industry of Andhra Pradesh. The movie is directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media. The movie is set to release on August 13, 2021.
Plot Summary
The movie is set in the backdrop of the red sanders smuggling industry in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. Allu Arjun plays the role of Pushpa Raj, a coolie who is involved in the smuggling of red sanders. Pushpa Raj is a skilled fighter and is feared by many in the region.
The story revolves around Pushpa Raj’s conflict with a local politician and businessman named Bhavani, played by Fahadh Faasil. Bhavani is involved in the smuggling of red sanders and is also responsible for the exploitation of the people in the region. Pushpa Raj stands up against Bhavani and his henchmen, leading to a series of action-packed events.
The movie also explores the relationship between Pushpa Raj and his younger sister, played by Anasuya Bharadwaj. The sibling bond between the two is an integral part of the story and adds an emotional touch to the otherwise action-packed plot.
