Synopsis
Kantara is a thought-provoking movie that tells a story of love, sacrifice, and redemption. The movie is directed by Hicham Ayouch and released in 2021. Overview of the Story
Kantara is set in a Moroccan village, where Lina (played by Nouhaila Lfayeqi) falls in love with a man named Ali (played by Mouad Aboulhana). She decides to go to Casablanca to start a new life, where she meets a man named Karim (played by Karim Saidi). However, Lina’s past catches up with her when Hamid finds her and demands that she return to the village.
Lina returns home, where she is forced to confront her family and make a choice between her love for Ali and her loyalty to her family. The film ends with a powerful scene where Lina makes a final decision, leading to an emotional and thought-provoking ending.
Plot and Characterization:
