Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is rewriting box office history with records falling like a pack of cards every second day. The Atlee directorial which had already entered the Rs. 400 crore club with a bang clocked Rs. 36 crore to Rs. 38 crores on its 11th day, taking the total collections to approx. Rs. 480 crores.

On Sunday, Jawan [Hindi] went past the collections of the Yash-led KGF 2 [Hindi] directed by Prashanth Neel, which collected Rs. 425 crores in Hindi. Talking of the second-weekend box office trend, Jawan was on the rise through the 3 days. The SRK film collected Rs. 19.1 crores on the 2nd Friday and jumped to Rs. 32.3 crores on the 2nd Saturday and Rs. 37 crores on the 2nd Sunday. This takes the second-weekend collection to Rs. 90 crores.

The film is on track to emerge as an all-time highest grosser for Hindi cinema and with this, SRK would be the only actor to have delivered 2 all-time grosses in a single calendar year. The holiday season begins for Jawan in the coming week, as it will benefit from Ganesh Chaturthi’s break on Tuesday, followed by Eid and Gandhi Jayanti in the third and fourth week respectively.

Jawan is doing well across the board – be it the single screens or the multiplex – thereby quantifying itself to be a universal blockbuster.

  1. You actually make it seem really easy along with your presentation but I to find this matter to be really something that I think I would by no means understand. It seems too complex and extremely wide for me. I’m taking a look ahead to your next put up, I will attempt to get the cling of it!
