Synopsis
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is a 2017 Indian movie that was directed by S.S. Rajamouli. It is the sequel to the first movie, Baahubali: The Beginning, and is considered one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema. The Rise of Baahubali
Baahubali returns to Mahishmati to claim his rightful place as king and defeat Bhallaladeva. He is helped by his loyal soldiers, including Kattappa, who had been forced to betray Baahubali earlier. In a fierce battle, Baahubali kills Bhallaladeva and reclaims his kingdom. However, he is tragically killed by Kattappa, who had been ordered by the queen mother to assassinate Baahubali to protect her kingdom.
Plot summery
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion picks up where the first movie, Baahubali: The Beginning, left off. Amarendra Baahubali (Prabhas) has been declared the new king of Mahishmati and is loved by his people. However, his jealous cousin Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati) plots against him and eventually manages to overthrow Amarendra and seize the throne for himself.
Years later, Amarendra’s son Mahendra Baahubali (also played by Prabhas) learns of his father’s fate and sets out to avenge his death and reclaim the throne. With the help of his loyal allies, including the warrior princess Avanthika (Tamannaah), Mahendra sets out on a perilous journey to defeat Bhallaladeva and restore peace to Mahishmati.
Along the way, Mahendra uncovers shocking secrets about his family’s past and the reason for his father’s downfall. He also confronts his own fears and doubts as he faces seemingly insurmountable challenges. In the end, Mahendra must use all of his strength and courage to overcome Bhallaladeva’s army and claim his rightful place as the king of Mahishmati.
